HISTORY
At the beginning of the century, the family's grandfather, Jaume
Alemany Orga, started an activity in the family's country property "La Fanga". At
the begging the wine they produced was for self-consumption, later they started
to sell the excess to the neighbours. The tradition hold up with next generations,
with Josep Llopart Ferré and with the present owner, Jaume Llopart Alemany. In Cal
Pau Manso started the wine production in an hand-made way. In 1997 some important
alterations were done to turn a familiar activity into a real business. For these
reason the county house Cal Pau Manso was turned into a modern cellar equipped with
the most modern machinery. The combination of new methods and modern machinery with
the experience and tradition allows this company to make wine and cava applying
the best of each generation. The enterprising hard work from Llopart Alemany family
took them to start another business, in 2000 they inaugurated a rural tourism house
in one of the families country houses, called "Les Graus". Four full equipped apartments
allows the visitors to enjoy a few days in the country, in a place rounded with
vineyard, nature, and a splendid weather.. |
